Dear Xchangers,

I am glad to see we're all trying our best to help the situation in the
Balcans; even more so because I feel that only grassroots action can make
things better.

My (fake left) government, my parliament (and many of yours too) are too
busy taking their pants off, in order to be anally manipulated by the US
government, to even think about aids to the populations over there.

Now someone is proposing some interpartitical coalition to help.

My opinion is that this is pure propaganda. These people would do anything
to grab some consensus. Even voting for the war operations (most of which
are based in my country) to go on and then creating interpartitical
coalitions to help.

I am saying this because I would be very saddened to see mailing lists such
as this, used for propaganda by professional politicians that don't give a
shit about freedom of speech online, the internet, xchange, free radio or
B92 and will only boost an "international internet mailing list" at some
press conference. My point is that NO WAR should take place; this point of
view simply CANNOT be shared by any politician, otherwise they would have
done everything in their power to stop this (which they did not).

But I wouldn't want to prevent anything good, thou. I just worry because I
know professional politicians. Mailing lisis such as this one are a very
valuable thing, and we wouldn't want it to be used for unclear purposes.

We all want to help, and we clearly want to do it without parts and
counterparts (and ALL political parties over here are pro someone and
against someone else). This is why I feel we should stay clear of political
parties and professional politicians, and act ourselves.

No offence to anyone: this is just my opinion.
