Prepare yourself for the big one ... Earthdance ... the global
party for planetary peace is coming your way today
2nd October from 72 different venues around the world - all
will be simultaneously broadcasting live online, making for an
awesome choice in the line-up of acts. We are looking after
the main event direct from The Rocket in London which will
include live performances by Jonathan Moore [Coldcut], UK
hip-hop heroes 'Scratch', Red Snapper's Alison David, The
Calyx [Moving Shadow] and a raft of great Pendragon personas,
as well as exclusive interviews and real-time linkups with
New York and South Africa.
We will be broadcasting Earthdance using Microsoft's MediaPlayer,
multicasting via Intervu and co-ordinating with the other live
events via Pseudo, so be sure to tune in at 9pm GMT to guarantee
yourself a stream for this monster global phenomenon from:

[=] pod guide
In addition to all party pleasures, we haven't forgotten to
sniff out some mouth watering short films and digital
delights from this year's Portobello Film Festival for October's
pod. It's a serious case of desktop envy when these puppies
start to stream.
"Songs Of The Central Line" is the first of three short films
by Resource Design which could be described as a multi-layered
digital collage of collectable delights ... but then that is
just what we think, you decide for yourself at:

The second and third are called "Sketchbook" and are equally
compelling creative journeys:

Moving onward - we have discovered Whatever Films for you
this month and did we enjoy encoding these up for you. We
have three amazing examples of their latest works, each
deserving critical acclaim, but we'd prefer to just watch
them:
"Green Monkey"

"Orgasm Ray Gun"

"Don't Walk"

To keep you all on your toes, we've slid in Massimo Garlatti-
Costa's "The Man With 2 Eyes" for all those who like walks in
the woods ... keep them peeled:

Last and by no means least, we have Matt Horlock's "Kingsize"
classic of the morning after the night before ... say no more:
