Tales of Slacker Bonding -- www.slackerbonding.com -- is currently
seeking contributions for our next issue, "Pop Goes Gen X." We are the
destination for web savvy Gen-Xers looking to share ideas about film,
music and social commentary.

Tales of Slacker Bonding is for all slackers who've ever been hopelessly

in love, fallen heartbroken and battered out of it, mourned over the
lack of it, and then thought they had it all figured out.

What's the story, morning glory? Do all your relationships follow a pop
song format? Does Johnny Depp turn you on? Or how about that sexy black
PVC
in The Matrix? Can you remember the first time you read "The Chrysalids"
or
"Neuromancer," the first time you watched "Star Wars" "Grease", or even
"High Fidelity"? Did you grow up on Sesame Street and wonder how it's
affected your relationships with people (vs. puppets or TV)?

Are all Gen-Xers pop culture junkies worshipping at the Church of the
Poisoned Mind? How on earth do you form common bonds when there is just
so much stuff to know? Want to chime in on the topic of pop culture?
Does
your girlfriend have excruciatingly cheesy taste in movies? Is your
comic
book collection cramping your style in the bedroom? Do you keep dating
men
who remind you of guys in Spinal Tap? The Ramones (R.I.P. Joey)?
Madonna?

Our X-Posed area features the words of anyone who has a story to share.
So get involved and send those tales our way. Dazzle us with your
talent.
Submit your work today! (Deadline for this issue is May 6th, 2001.)
