thanks for the invitation, and, yes, I am very much interested in
participating in the symposium - and very intrigued by the possibilities of
your dish! I am currently engaged in a slow and simmering process working
together with nina czegledy on a project examining, among others, the
acoustic spatial presence of the ionosphere - part of a project entitled
aurora universalis, which uses the aurora borealis as is primary source of
material. I would definitely like to see how your equipment may be used for
this purpose, and can certainly provide some input during your symposium -
although I can't say in exactly which form right at the moment.

I am trying ti get some funding to pay for my flight to riga, and would
definitely take you up on your overnight accomodation offer. In order to
make my grant application more plausible, it would be great to get your
email again, directed specifically to me, and stating that I am invited as a
participating artist (rather than being on a list of potentials), and will
be presenting and discussing the "aurora universalis" project.

I will also try to contribute to your planning process, however, on monday I
have to go to ethiopia for 5 weeks to work on a project there, and my email
access will be somewhat limited. Nevertheless I'll see what I can do. If you
could send the email of support by the end of this week, then that would be
great too, since I have to send off my request before I leave here.
