Hello there.
I am Chris Dooks, who records under the "bovine life" moniker (see www.bip-hop.com)...
I am one of the "year of the artist" uk projects, currently in virtual residence at Teesside University which is one of 3 host locations for The Northern Region Film and Television Archive.
It's my job to revisit the archive's diverse collection of material looking at North East English life over the past 100 years.
As a long time member of this list, I just wanted to draw your attention to the site which is www.tees.ac.uk/artist - there's a weekly diary up there, plus many quicktimes and mp3s of the work. It would be good to have some feedback on the work on the site plus the diary content - because eventually (September time) there will be an enhanced cd released to interested parties.
But also, as a collaborator by nature, it would be great for people to take / sample the material on the site whether written, audio or visual and remix it back to me, for possible inclusion on the cd. I would love to have dialogues with you about this. Any way you feel you can repsond to the content of the site would be interesting.
