STAGE 1 COMPLETE!

Looking at the impact of networked distribution and image degradation on narrative and form / production methodologies / venues - architectures / and collaborative practice. Current research investiges integrated models for infrastructure implementation, along side the development, presentation and distribution of performance, live event and screen culture across global networks.

A fractured narrative will be developed and distributed across a variety of pre-recorded and live scenes, in multiple locations simultaneously - linked together by the internet and Access Grid multicast conferencing technology.

Experimenting with time - slowing things down and bringing things to stillness? looking for relationships between the prerecorded footage, live performance and the lag as it distributes remotely.

2002 outcomes will include remote workshops / the development of a script / a distributed performance - work in progress / a web archive / and video documentation.
