Laika has been invited by The Nursery to do this issue in connection to the Recycle festival in Stockholm April 12.

Old sounds are always passed sounds and will not ever sound the same again. But still we all recognize the sounds from our childhood, or from work or a pop tune intro. However much we repeat the sounds new sounds are around them and new acoustics affect them. We collected sounds and other stuff to put this issue together.

Laika is a net.audio project that explores the net as a sound medium in two different directions - talk and tone. Listen to big and small sounds, always for the benefit of mankind.
