hello xchangers

thanx so much to adam and zina for ideas regarding
to 'long-time-ago-needed to update' xchange web-pages

i also suppose that this is right moment when
we could/should jump into kind of 'new era' of Xchange nework
this is exactly what we should do now - to reconstruct and restructure it

and the website is the first thing we should start with

because
- the xchange website has reached it's critical point - in 'not changing' ...
(i will not start to explain that we all the time thinking about changing it, etc... - ok?
:-),
and that we re-lab have drawn a draft for new interface, etc, .. )

but there also is an other reason for it -

it definatly would be much more important/interesting
to make new interface together with other xchangers,

i even would like to suggest to move new Xchange web-site
to the new artserver - new machine jaanis bought and installed last week in stockholm
which will host x-i.net, interfund.org, tmselector.net, world-service.org,
new baltic media space network website and other net projects
(most of them also have some connections with xchange, in different ways)

if we move xchange-site to
http://xchange.x-i.net
it will give us (and for those who want to be involved more actively)
more freedom in creating new interface

it also means that re-lab would like to become just one of the 'board members'
(or whatever we like to call most active xchange members)
re-lab can continue administrating work of the mailinglist and website
(also together with others interested in)

streaming media portal - i think, is very good idea to start building new website with

let's make a chat session - for all those who has ideas,
proposals and who are interested to contribute
their help and work for creating new website

let's try to have first chat on this friday - around 18:00 CET / 5 pm London
(or on saturday?)
http://irc.re-lab.net/xchange
another option (or second chat) could be on next Tuesday evening

what do you think?

let's meet soon!
rasa
