in early 2000, eight members of then dissolved convex tv. took up the thread of audio pragmatics again and started the project "werkleitz.com", which has been shown in july 2000 at the 4th werkleitz-biennial in tornitz, saxony-anhalt, germany, as an installation.

as part of the installation, which, as an integral part, also includes a website (http://www.werkleitz.com), the 29''29' audio piece with the same title tells the story (in german language, sorry) of the rise and fall of the internet start up company "werkleitz.com", trying to set up a c2c-business in the small east german towns of tornitz and werkleitz... ...obviously, with the crash of the new market and the unscrupulousness of the entrepreneurs, the company fails under mysterious circumstances...
in january 2001, "werkleitz.com" won the audience award in the internet-section of the 14. "stuttgart filmwinter", the "stuttgart award for new media". http://www.filmwinter.de/
