Within the range of the project ?Taste um die Ecke? initiated by Gertrude
Moser-Wagner, Sabine Maier and Michael Mastrototaro from MACHFELD have
realized an interactive audio-visual installation titled LEO_P.
With this installation, the artists are dealing with the distortion and
inversion of time and its sequences as well as with the aesthetics of the
everyday and the ongoing change of Leopoldsstadt, Vienna?s second
district.

The basis for the radio version of the installation, titled pr10, is the
real-time soundscape of a park nearby, at Praterstrasse 10. Orginal
everyday sounds from the Praterstrasse, recorded live, serve as control
and triggering tools for other audio sources on the one hand, and for
video sequences on the other. Different sequences from the soundscape
trigger off different actions, for instance ?Pins?, a sound installation
by Norbert Math.

pr10 is conceived as the total of all audio works presented on June 13,
within the framework of the project ?Taste um die Ecke?
