i have found two alternatives to napster.
the first "Gnutella" which was mentioned on the first posting is a cross-breed between napster and hotline (sounds great) the thing is it's rubbish! crashes all the time, takes ages to download something and it seems to lose its connection all the time, times out or something. this is mac only i think.
the second is called "Rapster" (yup they searched long and hard for that one) well thing is I cant even get this one open, it crashes straight out with an error! if anyone has used this let us know because apparently (according to the review on tucows.com) its the same as napster, just as fast and has the same graphical interface. this is mac only too i think.
